These beads start as kiln-fired terracotta beads. They are fired a second time with rough copper, then finished with a coating of either fine silver (100%) or pure copper, then fired for a third and final time. They are handmade in Europe and have some unusual shapes. Most of the beads have a hole size which is big enough to fit through the greek leather we sell. Some beads, such as the spikes and the skinny tubes won’t, but they are great with stringing wire such as Softflex or even make great necklaces with the snake chain.
